Vesterbro
Vesterbro is the western part of inner Copenhagen. Around 50,000 people live in Vesterbro. It was formerly a working-class neighborhood and one of Copenhagen’s red-light districts. It was on Istedgade that pornography was legalized in 1969. Vesterbro has now developed into a trendy area with many hotels, but still maintains an authentic atmosphere.
