Nørrebro is northwest of the city centre of Copenhagen, beyond the location of the old Northern Gate (Nørreport).
A traditional working class neighborhood. Known for its multicultural atmosphere, with a significant portion of its population being students, artists, or individuals with different ethnic backgrounds. Nørrebro has undergone a transformation from a working district to a cosmopolitan area.
The most populated district in Copenhagen, with a density of 19.500 inhabitants per km².
Around 80.000 people live in Nørrebro.
