The Circle Bridge
A bicycle and pedestrian bridge spanning the southern mouth of Christianshavn Canal in the Christianshavn area of central Copenhagen. The bridge consists of five round decks with masts of different heights. The masts are held up by 118 metal cables, giving the bridge a resemblance to a series of sailing yachts. Monument of Greenland at Christianshavn Torv
A monument from 1938 made by Svend Rathsack. It consists of three statues. The highest statue in the center shows a Greenlandic catcher in front of his kayak. To the left, there are two Greenlandic women flensing a seal and cleaning fish. The third statue shows two women in their national costume, while fishing. Water culture centre on Paper Island
In 2026, the construction of a unique public water culture centre is expected to be completed. The water culture centre is situated on Papirøen – the Paper Island – in Copenhagen’s inner harbour near Holmen and Christianshavn. The main attraction will be an outdoor pool located between the building’s roof surfaces. The Kissing bridge (Inner Harbour Bridge)
Inner Harbour Bridge also known as The Kissing bridge is 180 meter long bridge from Nyhavn to Nordatlantens Brygge. The bridge was built in 2016. The idea is to to connect Nyhavn and Christianshavn/Holmen by bike or foot. It is called The Kissing Bridge because when it retracts to let ships pass, and then connects again in a calm, horizontal, sliding move, it’s a little like a kiss.
