Jazzhus Montmatre

Since 1959 Jazzhus Montmartre has been Denmark’s internationally renowned venue for intimate jazz concerts at the highest level with more than 200 concerts a year with the biggest stars and the best new talents.

Since Montmartre was reopened by the jazz loving journalist Rune Bech in 2010 it has been a not-for-profit institution run on a tight budget with the help of 35 volunteers. Its supported by the state, the City of Copenhagen and a number of foundations in recognition of Montmartre’s role as the Danish national jazz venue.
